Darauf aufbauend entwickelt er fhrende sozialwissenschaftliche Mnnlichkeitstheorien kreativ weiter, in denen er die Wirklichkeiten der erzhlten Lebens und Handlungsgeschichten in ihrer Komplexitt zur Geltung bringt. Als ein zentrales Thema der untersuchten Gruppe der Jugendsozialarbeiter zeigt sich der zum Teil schwierige Umgang mit Milieuunterschieden in der eigenen Biografie wie auch in der Arbeit mit Jugendlichen benachteiligter sozialer und ethnischer Milieus.
