The Moda All-Stars Mix It Up book is fantastic for beginners! The 16 quilts using cake mix and cupcake mix papers really simplify the process. I’ve already made two quilts and they turned out beautifully. Highly suggest it if you want to dive into quilting without the stress!

Fun Patterns but Not Durable
I was excited about the quilt patterns in this book, but after just a few washes, my fabric started to fray. The designs are cute but I expected better quality for the instructions. Might work better for display rather than actual use.

Great Ideas but Needs More Detail
I love the concept of this book with 16 unique quilt patterns. However, I found some of the instructions a bit vague. It took a few tries to get my first quilt just right. Still, the end result was worth it!
