El presente estudio se plante como objetivo general, proponer el curso didctico: Fundamentos de la Actividad Fsica y el Deporte en la modalidad semipresencial para la Universidad Iberoamericana del Deporte (UID), quien a partir del ao 2010 se denomina Universidad Deportiva del Sur (UDS) en la Repblica Bolivariana de Venezuela. Con dicha propuesta se pretende dar un impulso a la modalidad de enseanza virtual o en lnea y contribuir con la masificacin de la enseanza en la educacin superior. De igual manera se aade el hecho de que la Oficina de Planificacin del Sector Universitario (OPSU), eman una normativa que rige y norma los estudios a distancia, donde se autoriza a las instituciones a administrar en lo posible, las carreras que ya tengan aprobadas en esta modalidad, siempre y cuando se cumplan los requerimientos tcnicos y administrativos necesarios, razn por la que se recomienda la puesta en prctica de este curso.
