It is known that some policy measures and success factors for the development of public procurement practices in developed economies are found to be easy in theory but difficult in practice for the developing countries because of the intrinsic and unique nature and heterogeneity existed among the developing countries. Governments in every administrative level are buying technological objects (e.g. hardware or software) or nontechnology ones from various private sources. In this book, seventeen highlevel government departments from thirteen government ministries in Myanmar are evaluated based on their procurement practices. A group of fourteen Critical Success Factors (CSF) is prioritized and a case study is also carried out for two public ICT procurement undertakings in Myanmar. The research was strengthened with a methodology, viz. a modified and advanced fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), also known as fuzzy synthetic extent analysis method (EAM). This edition is a must not only for any policy maker in procurement but for those researchers, practitioners and academics in the fields of public policy, decision analysis and supply chain management.
