Jedoch ist bislang unklar, wie die Entwicklung von Modellierungskompetenzen ber mehrere Schuljahre hinweg systematisch gefrdert werden kann. In der vorliegenden Arbeit stellt Ulrich Bhm ein Konzept mit drei aufeinander aufbauenden Stufen zur Frderung von Modellierungskompetenzen innerhalb der Sekundarstufe I vor. Grundlage ist eine ttigkeitstheoretische Analyse ausgewhlter Modellierungsaufgaben. Ulrich Bhm greift in seiner Arbeit dieses normativ gesetzte Ziel auf, um einen Vorschlag zur bislang offenen Frage nach einer langfristigen und kumulativen Entwicklung von Modellierungskompetenzen innerhalb der Sekundarstufe I zu entwickeln. Er nutzt die Ttigkeitstheorie um Handlungselemente beim mathematischen Modellieren zu benennen. Diese ttigkeitstheoretische Analyse fhrt auf eine Differenzierung verschiedener Modellierungsaktivitten. Die so gewonnenen Modellierungsaktivitten werden in einem Konzept mit drei aufeinander aufbauenden Stufen zur Frderung von Modellierungskompetenzen zusammengefhrt.
