L'objectif du travail dcrit tait le dveloppement d'un modle numrique prdictif pour la simulation des phnomnes de postoxydation dans la ligne dchappement dun moteur essence. Le modle a t crit pour reproduire le processus d'autoinflammation des hydrocarbures durant la postoxydation, mais galement l'volution des polluants et des produits de combustion. Ceci a ncessit la mise au point d'un schma cintique tenant compte de la chimie basse temprature et de l'influence des espces majeures prsentes dans les gaz brls. Ces espces sont les diluants CO2, le H2O et le N2, mais aussi les polluants CO ou NOx. Afin de considrer les phnomnes physiques de la postoxydation (turbulence, effets de mlange), ce schma cintique a t coupl un modle de combustion turbulente d'un code CFD 3D. Ce couplage a t effectu via une tabulation a priori de la chimie. Une configuration permettant de reprsenter les phnomnes caractristiques de la postoxydation dans la ligne d'chappement d'un moteur combustion interne a t simule. Les rsultats permettent de mieux apprhender ces phnomnes et de proposer des solutions technologiques visant leur optimisation.
