Cette adaptation ncessite lexploration de plusieurs perspectives : OrienteActivit, orienteConnaissance, orienteSimulation, et orienteMaturit. Le livre prsente une nouvelle approche de modlisation des processus supporte par un outil nomm DSL4SPM. Loutil implmente et enrichie la spcification Software & Systems Process Engineering Metamodel (SPEM) et se caractrise par : 1) un cadre conceptuel pour la modlisation; et 2) une orientation multiperspectives. Le cadre conceptuel est bas sur la syntaxe fournie par SPEM, alors que les perspectives sont le rsultat dun enrichissement smantique bas sur les connecteurs entre les lments SPEM. L'auteur aborde successivement les quatre perspectives de modlisation selon les points de vue recherche et ingnierie, puis dmontre lapplicabilit et lutilit des perspectives. Il discute du positionnement de ces travaux dans un contexte plus large traitant lamlioration de l'ingnierie de dveloppement logiciel en incluant les aspects de mesure et dvaluation des processus, projets et qualit des produits.
