Easy to read, yet comprehensive, this is the perfect introduction into the molecular basis of disease and the novel treatment options that have become available. The authors, Jens Kurreck and Cy Stein, have both longstanding teaching experience on the subject, one from a biologists angle, the other with a medical background. Together, they have produced a modern textbook for courses in Molecular Medicine that incorporates modules from immunology to signaling, from virology to gene therapy, and the latest development in personalized medicine.

I found the book itself quite informative, especially the chapters on gene therapy. However, it arrived a few days later than expected, which was frustrating. Still worth having in my collection, just sort out the shipping next time, please!

Not What I Hoped For
I was excited to read this book, but it didn't meet my expectations. Some sections felt outdated and the layout could be better. It’s okay for an overview, but if you're looking for in-depth detail, you might want to keep looking.

Great Intro to Molecular Medicine
Molecular Medicine: An Introduction is a fantastic book for beginners. It covers complex topics in a way that's easy to grasp. I bought it for my college class and found it super helpful with clear explanations and diagrams. Highly recommend it for anyone starting in this field!
