She also writes about the joy of sisterhood, a beloved pet, and the lighthearted musings of the pitterpatter of little feet. Filled with realism and clarity, the poet provides an easy to read collection that contains something enjoyable to which almost any reader can relate. These very candid and intimate glimpses at the special "moments" in Claudine's life are heartfelt words that will bring joy and comfort to all readers. About the Author Born in rural Virginia in 1950, Claudine, her twin sister, and her brother were raised in a home with a loving mother and an abusive alcoholic stepfather. Claudine led a challenging childhood, but drawing strength from her mother and sister, she was able to overcome any and all obstacles. Through it all, Claudine has found healing and comfort by expressing herself through her poetry. She now lives in Ohio, where she works as a flight attendant for a major airline.
