Gem der ffentlichen Meinung steht Social Entrepreneurship noch am Anfang seiner Entwicklung und steckt im Vergleich zu der Situation in anderen Lndern noch in den Kinderschuhen. Jedoch belegen Beispiele aus der deutschen Unternehmerwelt, dass der soziale Kapitalismus auch in Deutschland vertreten ist. Aber auch in der heutigen Zeit nehmen der soziale Charakter und die Nachhaltigkeit einen groen Stellenwert bei den Unternehmen ein. Allerdings verfolgen die meisten Organisationen das klassische Business, bei dem noch die Gewinnmaximierung das oberste Ziel ist. Darber hinaus gibt es auch die Social Entrepreneurs in "Reinform", die gnzlich auf Spenden und Frdergelder angewiesen sind. Fr sie steht die Generierung von Gewinnen gnzlich auer Frage. Doch es besteht auch die Gefahr oder das Risiko, dass einige Unternehmer ihre Aktivitten im sozialen Bereich nur als "Beruhigung des schlechten Gewissens" oder als "window dressing" sehen.
