While the art is colorful and appealing, I found the stories in Island Vol. 1 a bit shallow. My kids enjoyed it, but as an adult, I was hoping for a little more depth. Still, it’s fun for younger readers!

Mixed Feelings About This Book
I wanted to love Monster Colored Island, but the print quality was a bit off in my copy. Some pages were slightly faded which took away from the vibrant art. The stories are cute, though!

I love the concept of Monster Colored Island, and the kids really enjoy the stories. However, it took longer to arrive than expected, which was a bummer. I hope the next volume comes quicker!
