He seeks to understand the realities and challenges that Christian denominations face in the 21st Century.Here is a picture of a very diverse movement where some congregations exist in a traditional Christendom world, others in a postChristendom world, and yet others in a preChristendom Book of Acts world. Patrick finds that the Church of God is a decentralized denomination unable to use that flexibility to prevent overcentralization and consequently, fragmentation.
