The appendix includes two 200question practice tests with answer keys that are patterned after both certification exams. The practice tests on the CDROM provide a realistic testing experience similar to the NCE exam. The CDROM contains a randomization feature so that questions never appear in the same order for practice tests, nor are they grouped by content area. Tests on the CDROM are automatically graded on completion, including a breakdown of how the user scored in each of the 4 major subject areas. The Tutorial feature on the CDROM allows users to select one of the 4 major subject areas, and then test only in that category. Rationales are displayed when the user selects the correct answer. An expanded section devoted to helping readers learn how to study and take tests effectively includes study tips, testtaking tips, information on the NCBTMB's 2 tests, question analysis, and indepth information on the four areas of preparation for the National Certification Exam and the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. A new section on review resources contains a muscle quick reference guide, a diseases and indications/contraindications to massage therapy chart, content on Asian bodywork methods, labeling exercises, and a comprehensive glossary. Each chapter of review questions begins with study strategies for the content covered in that chapter to help familiarize readers with the topic and how best to study it. New review questions and updated content reflect changes in the exams given by the NCBTMB and massage therapy curriculum. Along with all of the review questions from the chapters in the book and the appendix exams, the CDROM contains a complete, brand new practice test with 165 questions that mirrors the NCE exam.
