Steve Langella, a feisty mountain biker who dotes on his onespeed bike and lives for adventure, has nearly a decade of experience trekking the isolated forest regions of New England. This book explores the North Country of New Hampshire, where Langella has logged over 10,000 offroad biking miles.Written with a true Yankee flair and an environmentally sensitive perspective, this book offers information on how to prepare for wilderness mountain biking, detailed maps, route notes, wilderness survival tips, and numerous compelling essays.

I recently picked up Steve's Wilderness Treks for a biking trip in New Hampshire, and it didn't disappoint! The detailed maps and descriptions really helped us navigate the more remote areas. It felt like having a knowledgeable friend along for the ride.

A solid guide but some missing areas
This guide is pretty good for hitting the northern territory trails. However, I found a few popular spots missing from the book. It’s still a decent resource, just wish it covered everything I wanted to see!

Didn’t meet my expectations
Honestly, I expected more from Steve's guide. The information felt outdated, and some trails were poorly marked. I was excited to explore but ended up a bit frustrated trying to find my way. Disappointed.
