This book has some awesome info about wilderness medicine in extreme situations, but it’s not very beginner-friendly. If you’re new to outdoor survival techniques, it might be overwhelming. However, the Mountain Rescue Doctor clearly knows his stuff and offers real-life examples.

Great insights for serious adventurers
'Wilderness Medicine in the Extremes of Nature' is great for anyone who spends a lot of time in remote areas. I appreciated the practical advice and tips from the Mountain Rescue Doctor. It’s a hefty read, but worth it if you're going to be in challenging environments!

Good resource, but a bit dense
I liked the book overall, but found some sections a bit hard to digest. The Mountain Rescue Doctor covers a lot of ground, which is great, but I wish it had a few more visuals or charts for quick reference. Still, it’s a decent resource for anyone serious about wilderness medicine.
