Moving on is a nonfiction journal based on experiences and lessons that were part of a 47 day odyssey bicycle ride across the United States. It's a series of vignettes that are a celebration of rich findings, both mundane and profound, that exist in the human experience and that often lie below the level of our awareness. Moving on takes hold of simple occurrences in the life of a crosscountry bicyclist and looks to find what meaning might be available in them. It is a series of snapshots, of people and places, of feelings and appreciations that were a part of the trip. Moving on is at times serious, humorous, commonplace and sometimes rare. It weaves together a tapestry intended to demonstrate beauty, meaning and purpose. In response to reading a portion of the book, Publishing Agent John Monteleone wrote: 'The context is rich and the related thoughts of others transform the bike ride into a continuous journey of discovery.
