En este trabajo se propone una Multimedia que contribuya al conocimiento de la historia de la localidad Artemisa, con el apoyo de las Tecnologas de la Informacin y la Comunicacin (TIC). Se realiza un diagnstico de problemas educativos que se producen en el proceso de enseanza aprendizaje de la asignatura Historia de Cuba, con el empleo de las Tecnologas Informticas, la informacin se obtiene a partir de la aplicacin de diferentes tcnicas como encuestas, entrevistas, observacin participante y anlisis de documentos. Para atenuar las dificultades detectadas y con vistas a utilizar las TIC en el estudio de la historia de la localidad y su vinculacin con la historia de Cuba, se disea e implementa una Multimedia, donde se crea un sistema interactivo, que puede ser explorado por los usuarios, realizar bsquedas y seleccionar la informacin til, navegando por cada uno de los temas que lo conforman.
