A veteran forensic psychiatrist focuses his considerable talents on the case of Jack the Ripper and not only identifies the killer conclusively but also probes his motives. By the author of Confessions of Son of Sam. Tour.

This book delves deep into the life of Jack the Ripper, and I couldn't put it down! The way the author paints the picture of Victorian London is incredible. It’s both eerie and fascinating, making you feel like you're right there in the midst of the madness. Highly recommend for true crime enthusiasts!

Interesting but Lacked Depth
I found 'Murder and Madness' to be a decent read, but I was hoping for more detailed exploration of the historical context. It starts strong, but some sections felt rushed. Still, if you're curious about Jack the Ripper, it has its moments! Worth picking up, but it's not my favorite true crime book.

Disappointed by the Presentation
Honestly, I was excited to dive into this book, but I found it hard to get through. The writing style didn’t click with me, and some facts seemed jumbled. I expected a gripping narrative about Jack the Ripper, but it fell flat. I don’t think I’d recommend it.
