I was excited to get 'Mushrooms of Cascadia', but it showed up with a small tear on the cover. The contents are fine, but I was disappointed with the shipping. The book itself is quite helpful for my mushroom hunts!

I thought this would be more about cooking with mushrooms, but it’s really focused on identification. It’s well-written, but I was hoping for recipes too. Still, it’s a good book if you’re into recognizing various fungi.

This guide is a solid introduction to the fungi in the Pacific Northwest. I found it informative, but I wish it had a bit more on the toxic varieties to avoid. Still, it’s a great starting point for anyone interested in mushrooms!
