I liked that the monster made everything clean again! This book is not scary, even though some kids might think so since it has a monster in it. I think that any kid will like this book. Jill Smith: In this book, one little girl has her very own red monster living under her bed. Her brother doesn't believe her and dares her to ask him out from under the bed. She does and discovers the red monster is very hungry and wants her to give him jobs or he'll eat her up. She starts giving him jobs and he does them. When she stops being scared of the monster, she decides there's only one thing left to do. The monster does everything she says, her brother is in for a surprise!Edwards Book Club Andrea ScottI like Wickstrom's book. It is a new take on the monster under the bed idea. The story is unique, the illustrations are good, and the ending lets the children think about what happens next. I would recommend this book for children aged 24.
