There have long been rumors of a lost cache of tapes containing private conversations between Orson Welles and his friend the director Henry Jaglom, recorded over regular lunches in the years before Welles died. The tapes, gathering dust in a garage, did indeed exist, and this book reveals for the first time what they contain.

While I enjoyed the book, I was hoping for more in-depth analysis of Welles' work. The conversations are interesting but sometimes meander. The book arrived in great shape, almost like new as advertised, so no complaints there. Still, I’d say it’s more for die-hard fans of Welles.

I picked up 'My Lunches with Orson' and couldn't put it down! The conversations between Henry Jaglom and Orson Welles feel so authentic, it's like you're eavesdropping on their lunch chats. The condition was like new, which made it even better to dive into. If you're a film fan, this is a must-have!

Disappointed with Condition
I was excited to read this book, but it arrived with some noticeable wear despite being advertised as like new. The conversations are engaging, but the condition really affected my enjoyment. I expected a cleaner copy for the price I paid.
