I got this National Geographic Kids Space Encyclopedia for my 8-year-old son, and he loves it! The second edition has awesome images and fun facts about our solar system. It's become his go-to book whenever he has a question about space.

More pictures than facts
While the visuals in this space encyclopedia are stunning, I found that it doesn't go into much detail on certain topics. It’s good for a quick reference, but I expected more substance.

A staple in our home library
We keep this book on our coffee table, and our kids (ages 7 and 10) flip through it all the time. The illustrations are beautiful, and the info is easy for them to digest. Highly recommend for families!

Kids love it, but some pages arrived creased
I bought this for my niece's birthday, and she's been glued to it! However, the book had some creased pages when it arrived, which was a bit disappointing. It still looks great on her shelf, though!

Great overview but lacks depth
This encyclopedia is a solid introduction for kids. The layout is colorful and engaging, but I wish it went a bit deeper into some topics. Still, it's great for sparking interest in space!
