Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Reichweite der von Hans Immler entwik kelten Naturwerttheorie (vgl. insbesondere 1985 und 1989)1 fiir die adaquate gesell schaftstheoretische Reflexion des sog. MenschNaturVerhaltnisses zu priifen. Imrnler behauptet, daB auch die Natur, so wie die Arbeit, an der Wertbildung beteiligt sei, und daB das Ignorieren dieses Sachverhaltes (nicht zuletzt seitens der 'abstrakten' Oko nomie) als Ursache der okologischen Krise anzusehen sei. Immler knupft damit an (z.T. von ihm selbst gefiihrte) Diskussionen der siebziger 2 Jahre an, in denen der UmweltOkonomie von der marxistischen Kritik vorgeworfen wurde, sie entwickele Instrumente zur Bekampfung der Umweltkrise, die genau der Rationalitat folgten, die die Krise hervorgebracht habe (vgl. Hassenpflug 1975,790). Den Monetarisierungs bzw. Bewertungskonzepten der Umweltokonomie und der Landschaftsplanung ist in diesem Kontext vorgeworfen worden, die abstrakte Ratio nalitat der Wertform abzubilden. Diese abstrakte Rationalitat, die die Form des kapi talistischen Umgangs mit den Naturressourcen kennzeichne, habe die Umweltzersto rung hervorgebracht, da sie aufgrund der Orientierung an der Verwertung des Werts dem Tauschwert Vorrang vor dem Gebrauchswert einraume. Sie abstrahiere daher von aller Stofflichkeit und verhalte sich 'blind' (vgl. Immler 1975, 825) und grenzenlos ausbeutend gegenuber den Naturgrundlagen (vgl. Immler 1973, 649).
