Natural fibres like jute have attracted worldwide attention as a potential for making reinforced polymer composite because of their low price, low density, light weight, easy processing ability, renewability, recyclability and nonabrasive, nonhazardous and biofriendly characteristics. In the present write up, jute fibres in the form of Slivers have been reinforced with epoxy resins to prepare high strength composites.
