With the idea to match the success of Hernn Corts, in 1957 lvar embarked on the expedition that would later be known as the expedition of failure, where he intended to conquer Florida. Naufragios Comentarios is a biographical account that narrates the events experienced by this man with great detail and descriptions. The author shows a new reality, different from the old descriptions of cities of gold that was Christopher Columbus, with more objectivity than most other chroniclers.Con la idea de igualar los xitos de Hernn Corts, en 1527 se embarc la expedicin que ms adelante se conocera como la 'expedicin del fracaso', y que se propona conquistar Florida. Formaba parte de ella lvar Nez Cabeza de Vaca, uno de los cuatro sobrevivientes de la aventura. Naufracios es un relato autobiogrfico que narra los sucesos vividos por este hombre, con abundancia de datos y descripciones que dejaron un legado para las posteriores expediciones. Esta obra describe la inversin de papeles que aconteci: de conquistadores a conquistados, y de dominantes a dominados.
