Con este trabajo pretendemos evaluar un conjunto de capacidades (variables) psicolgicas que, segn el anlisis de la literatura, interfieren en el rendimiento deportivo de los jugadores de ftbol: cohesin de grupo, motivacin, ansiedad, autoconfianza y atencin/concentracin. En el transcurso de la bsqueda bibliogrfica (efectuada por nosotros mismos) en diversos estudios realizados en el mbito de la psicologa del deporte, encontramos varios instrumentos de evaluacin de esas capacidades. Dichos instrumentos estaban adaptados y validados para cada modalidad deportiva, incluyendo el ftbol. Sin embargo, consideramos oportuno ser pertinentes y crear, adaptar y aplicar un instrumento especfico para ftbol que evaluase dichas capacidades, dado que las caractersticas de este deporte son muy peculiares en relacin a las dems modalidades deportivas.
