So lassen sich verschiedene Fragen formulieren, die einem einen bestimmten Blickwinkel auf das Feld der sthetik erschliessen: Wie kann man Kunstwerke beurteilen? Gibt es Kunstgattungen, die einen Vorrang vor anderen Kunstgattungen haben? Gibt es einen Zusammenhang zwischen Kunst und dem Begriff des Schnen? Es lieen sich sicherlich noch einige hnliche Fragen formulieren, bei denen das Werturteil ber das sthetische jeweils von Interesse wre. Als ein herausragender Vetreter der analytischen sthetik des 20. Jahrhunderts weicht nun Nelson Goodman radikal von diesen Fragestellungen ab. Andere Probleme der Kunstphilosophie sind fr Goodman geeignet, um einen Ansatzpunkt zur Grundlegung einer neuen Theorie zu gewinnen. So spielt bei Goodman die Frage nach der Identitt des Kunstwerks eine entscheidende Rolle. Ausgangspunkt fr diese Problematik ist bei Goodman die banal anmutende Frage, in welchen Kunstgattungen Flschungen mglich sind und in welchen nicht. Diese Frage ermglicht es Goodman, die kategoriale Unterscheidung zwischen autographischen und allographischen Knsten einzufhren. Im engen Zusammenhang mit dieser Unterscheidung steht bei Goodman die Idee, ein logisches Bestimmungsmerkmal fr die einzelnen Knste zu entwickeln. Den Rahmen hierzu schafft er mithilfe seiner allgemeinen Notationstheorie. Meine Aufgabe wird es vor allem sein, die einschlgigen Begriffe in Goodmans Theorie zu erlutern. Zunchst mu eine Erklrung der Begriffe autographisch und allographisch vorgenommen werden. Desweiteren mssen die theoretischen Bedingungen einer idealen Notation
