Schweizer Komponisten wie Heinz Holliger und Jrg Wyttenbach prsentierten hier ihre ersten Werke, aber auch Leute wie Giacinto Scelsi, Luigi Dallapiccola oder Ernst Krenek lieen sich ins Innere des Sandsteingemuers locken.Erstmals zeichnet die Autorin die faszinierende Geschichte dieser Konzertreihe nach und erhellt ihre Bedeutung vor dem Hintergrund lokaler Konzertgeschichte und nationalen zeitgenssischen Musikschaffens sowie allgemeiner musiksthetischer und zeitgeschichtlicher Entwicklungen um die Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts.
