Nach der aktuell vorliegenden Literatur wurde die Wirksamkeit des Neuroffedbacks bei chronifizierter, primr myogener Kraniomandibulrer Dysfunktion (CMD) bisher noch nicht im Rahmen einer Studie untersucht. Die konventionellen, okklusal orientierten Therapiemglichkeiten (in der Regel mittels Aufbissbehelf) die zur Behandlung der primr myogenen CMD (Bruxismus) im Sinne einer Standardtherapie zur Verfgung stehen, werden in jngerer Zeit eher kritisch beurteilt. Sie mssen als letztlich unzureichend bewertet werden, da sie lediglich symptomorientiert ansetzen und nur in den seltensten Fllen eine auch langfristig wirksame Beschwerdereduktion erzielt werden kann. Somit stellt jeder Therapieansatz, der tiologisch orientiert auf eine Reduktion der Hypertonizitt der Kaumuskulatur abzielt, grundstzlich eine sinnvolle Optimierung der Behandlungsmglichkeiten dar. Sowohl das Biofeedback als auch das Neurofeedbackverfahren sind nach den Ergebnissen der vorliegenden Arbeit durchaus als geeignete Optionen in der Therapie der CMD zu sehen, die frhzeitig in interdisziplinre und multimodale Behandlungsstrategien eingebunden, bzw. im Rahmen eines interdisziplinren
