About the Author The Editor: Mikle Dave Ledgerwood is Assistant Professor of French at the University of Stony Brook, New York, and is also Associated Professor in four other departments as well as director of the Language Learning Center. In addition to numerous articles and reviews on a variety of subjects, his work on New World comparative literature will soon be published.
