COURTESY OF LowCountryBookstore: Mr Lynn has divided his collection of 150 photographed into four sections: Architecture, Courtyards and Patios, Ironwork and Cemeteries. The first takes the reader from the Mississippi River at the foot of Canal Street. The second section reveals delightful glimpses into those interior gardens which the Creoles built to insure their muchvalued privacy. The next group presents in detail the wrought and castiron balcony railings, grilles, gates and ornaments the iron lacework that is such a distinctive part of New Orleans building.
