Ihr Ziel ist es, internationale und nationale Politik zu beeinflussen. Die Frage dieser Arbeit ist es, wie die jeweilige Regierungsleistung zustande kommt. Dabei soll beleuchtet werden, welchen Stellenwert bei der Produktion von Themen und Projekten die zivilgesellschaftliche Meinung einerseits, und welchen Stellenwert die internationale Vernetzung andererseits einnimmt. Wird die Agenda einer Nichtregierungsorganisation durch eine bottom upDynamik geprgt, oder spielt die internationale Vernetzung, z.B. zu anderen NGOs eine grere Rolle? Wie kommt die jeweilige GovernanceLeistung zustande und was ist effektiver? Um diese Fragen zu beleuchten, soll jeweils eine NGO im Bereich Umweltschutz in Brasilien (APREMAVI) mit einer Umweltschutzorganisation in Deutschland (BUND) untersucht werden. Ein wichtiger Aspekt ist der unterschiedliche Grad an Institutionalisierung der Organisationen APREMAVI und BUND. Auerdem muss der differente Entwicklungsstand und die soziale, wirtschaftliche und politische Situation in Deutschland und Brasilien mit einbezogen werden. Neben der Literaturrecherche des theoretischen Teils durch Sekundrliteratur und Primrquellen der NGOs werde ich mich intensiv mit APREMAVI und BUND auseinandersetzen. Ein bereits absolviertes Praktikum bei APREMAVI in Brasilien sowie intensive Gesprche und Korrespondenz mit Mitarbeitern der Organisationen werden mir die ntigen empirischen Erkenntnisse liefern.
