This book on the Nissan Skyline GTR is full of contemporary road and comparison tests, new model introductions, drivers impressions, long term reports, buying secondhand, track tests on the Nissan Skyline PGC10, C110, R32, R33, R34, R35, Spec V and Black Edition from 1969 to 2010. The first Skyline GTR went on sale in 1969 and was originally available only as a fourdoor sedan with a 2 litre engine. A coupe version was introduced in 1971. In 1989 a new allwheeldrive GTR with a 2.6 litre turbocharged engine was launched which sold extremely well with over 43,000 produced. This was followed in 1995 by the R33 and in 1999 by the R34. In 2007 Nissan revealed the production version of the latest generation GTR in Japan, but it did not appear on the US market until 2008 with its European debut in 2009.
