Product Description No Rest for the Wicked, a thriller love story with a paranormal twist weaves together the stories of two female protagonists, Cassandra Edwards and Scarlet Pennington, each woman from a different time era. The plot is fraught with danger and adventure, as it flashes back and forth between each womans life. Yet beneath it all the story is character driven, with a richly entangled love triangle which crosses over the centuries, uniting the womens two worlds in a cataclysmic finale. For anyone who has loved and lost, or still wants to believe in a little magic, this novel is for them. About the Author I've been reading books by flashlight, beneath the covers, my whole life. This is my first attempt at a novel, and it has been a richly rewarding experience creating a world for the characters of 'No Rest for the Wicked'. By day I am a highschool teacher of German, in Storrs, Connecticut. This career is likewise fulfilling for me. I have a Bachelor of Arts in German and Russian Area Studies, a Masters of Business in International Studies and am currently working on my Sixth Year degree for Educational Leadership. I have spent several years studying in Germany, as well as Russia, and spent a year teaching English in Japan as well. My travels, and my teaching have greatly influenced my writing. I began this novel the evening of Easter 2009, during a simple postfeast conversation with my husband. We began tossing around ideas on that lazy Sunday eve, and a question materialized in my head. What if the women tried for witchcraft at Salem had been framed by their accusers, themselves evil witches? The plot began to develop from there, taking many unexpected twists and turns, unplanned by me. My writing prompted me to do some research on the wiccan faith and herbology. I took a class at a local community college, and was fascinated by the naturebound faith I discovered there. Writing this novel has been a fabulous journey for me, and I hope that readers will also enjoy the ride.
