An examination of the role of sound in twentiethcentury arts.

While I found the concepts in 'Noise' really intriguing, some parts felt a little too dense for casual reading. The history is rich, but I had to reread sections to really grasp everything. Still, glad I picked it up for my collection.

A Fascinating Read on Sound's Impact
I picked up 'Noise: A History of Sound in the Arts' and was blown away by how it delves into the role sound plays in art. The insights are so well-researched and presented! If you’re into the arts and want a fresh perspective, this book is a must-read.

Not What I Expected
I bought 'Noise' thinking it would be more about sound design rather than a historical take. It has great research, but it wasn't what I was looking for. The pages arrived a bit crumpled too, which was disappointing.
