A fin de subsanar un vaco de informacin sobre pequeos poblados en el que se precisen caractersticas sobre condiciones socioeconmicas, educativas, laborales y migratorias de la poblacin, se estableci como objetivo general el de Disear el Nomenclador del Asentamiento Humano en la Aldea Betania del Municipio Rafael Urdaneta del Estado Tchira en Venezuela. Logrado bajo una investigacin cuantitativa, con el fin de buscar el reconocimiento de las cantidades y particularidades de los problemas de ese espacio geogrfico. Se realiz a travs de una aplicacin de campo efectuada con la tcnica del censo poblacional con el uso de un instrumento que es una encuesta socioeconmica. El estudio concluy con una serie de informacin sobre los grupos censados, demostrando sus caractersticas principales o comunes sobre datos como: Edad,nivel de instruccin origen de los jefes de hogar, estado civil, relacin laboral, sector productivo, tenencia de la tierra, la vivienda, servicios pblicos y privados entre otros elementos descriptivos. La informacin reflej la base para la creacin de un nomenclador demogrfico como modelo tipo para pequeos poblados.
