Gelungene Gedichte sind Extrakte besonderer Augenblicke im Leben eines Menschen. Diese zu formulieren und aufzuzeichnen bedarf einer intensiven, gedanklichen Konzentration auf das Formelle; selbst wenn es scheinbar zusammenhanglos geschrieben ist. Im besten Falle hlt die Form das, was sie verspricht und ermglicht durch ihre Stabilitt einen Abguss herzustellen, der Gefhle in tiefster Seele entdeckt und diese in einer lyrischen Sternstunde konserviert. Die Gedichte von Andreas B. Arnold stehen ganz in der Tradition dieser Gedanken. Der Dichter selbst sieht sich als hoffnungslosen Romantiker und versucht "das Wunderbare" dieser Zeit in die Moderne zu retten. Ebenso hat der Autor moderne Stilelemente integriert, wenn diese ihm notwendig erschienen, um Aussagen zu verfestigen oder Strukturen aufzubrechen. Der vorliegende Gedichtband enthlt Dichtungen aus einem Zeitraum von ber 20 Jahren. Diese sind zyklisch geordnet und beschreiben einen Lebenskreis, in dem am Anfang die Kunst, dazwischen eine Liebe und am Ende die Beschftigung mit dem Tod steht. Das Layout und smtliche liebevoll arrangierten und mit Tusche gezeichneten Illustrationen bernahm Anja Susan Jung.
