This book has been conceived and written with the following goal in mind: to develop a 'musical' snare drummer in the classical and traditional sense of the word. Included in this book is an explanation of the basic stroke and playing position. Examples of simple reading begin in 4/4 time and progress through 2/4,6/8and 3/4.
