"Ol'Daddy" is a thesis film that was made at The University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2012 by Brian Schwarz. This masters report recounts and details the inspiration, the development, and the physical process of making "Ol'Daddy." Brian writes about the genesis of the story and the characters, the process of taking a feature length script and adapting it to a short script, as well as all the wonderful trials and tribulations it takes to make a short film, from script to screen, on a very small budget.
By changing our most important processes and
products, we have already made a big leap forward. This ranges from the
increased use of more sustainable fibers to the use of more
environmentally friendly printing processes to the development of
efficient waste management in our value chain.
