Oliver Moon feels super lucky when he wins the magic school raffle, but when his prize turns out to be a hideous painting of an ugly monster, he is greatly disappointed.

I was excited to read this book to my niece, but it arrived with some pages crumpled. The story itself is cute, but the damaged condition took away from the experience. I hope the seller improves their packaging!

Charming story with great illustrations
What a delightful book! The illustrations in "Oliver Moon and the Monster Mystery" are just beautiful. It’s great for sparking imagination, and my son asks for it every night. Just wish it had a bit more depth to the storyline.

Enjoyable but a bit predictable
I bought this book for my 7-year-old, and while he enjoyed it, I felt the plot was a bit predictable. The characters were nice, but it didn’t have that wow factor I was hoping for. Still a decent read for younger kids.
