As a first-time parent of a preteen, this book was pretty helpful! It gave me a lot of ideas on how to approach different situations. The section on social media really made me think about how I monitor my child's online life. Worth it!

I was looking for something more hands-on, but this book is mostly theory. Some info is good, but I was hoping for practical exercises or worksheets to use with my kid. It's okay, but not exactly what I wanted.
