Adapted from a story by children s author and illustrator Alona Frankel, the interactive sound book begins with Prudence receiving her own potty chair from her grandmother. Although she doesn t know how to use it at first, Prudence eventually learns to go in the potty every time.Toddlers will enjoy pressing the book s four big, bright sound buttons that match the illustrated icons in the text to hear:A triumphant tune to mark Prudence s success on the potty.Meows from Prudence s cat as it enjoys a bowl of milk.Tweeting birds taking a bath.The rewarding flush of a toilet as Prudence says goodbye to her WeeWee and PooPoo.The buttons and musical speaker are located on a large plastic panel anchored on the book. The buttons are accessible from every page. Extrathick, coated pages prevent rips and tears. Three replaceable longlife AG13 button cell batteries that power the book are included. The Once Upon a Potty Sound Book for Girls conforms to the safety requirements of ASTM F96308. The book has been safety tested for children 18 months and older.
