A lavish fortieth anniversary edition of this American classic story of Randle Patrick McMurphy, a criminal who feigns insanity and is admitted to a mental hospital where he challenges the autocratic authority of the head nurse features a new introduction by Robert Faggen and drawings the author made when he worked at the psychiatric hospital that was the inspiration for his powerful novel. 17,500 first printing.

I get why this movie is considered a classic, but it was pretty hard to sit through at times. Some scenes were really intense and made me uncomfortable. Not my favorite, but I can see why others love it. Just not for everyone!

A Classic That Still Resonates
I recently watched 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' and was blown away by the performances. Jack Nicholson is phenomenal as McMurphy! The film's exploration of mental health issues still feels relevant today. A must-have for anyone who loves classic cinema.

Good But Has Its Flaws
I liked the movie, but I felt some parts dragged on a bit longer than necessary. The characters are unforgettable, but I wished for a bit more background on some of them, especially Nurse Ratched. Still worth a watch for the acting!
