If he ever wants to go home again, hed better find his missing partner fast. But if hes caught out after dark, Elim risks succumbing to the old and sinister truth in his own flesh and discovering just how far hell go to survive the night.

I enjoyed the premise of 'Children of the Drought,' but it took me a while to get into it. The first few chapters felt a bit sluggish. However, once it picked up, I found myself hooked. Just be patient with it!

Impactful and emotional read
This is a powerful book that really highlights the effects of drought on communities. The characters felt real, and their experiences were so relatable. I couldn't put it down once I started; definitely worth reading!

Okay read, but not my favorite
I found 'Children of the Drought' interesting, but the pacing was off for me. Some parts dragged too long, and I felt like the story could have been tighter. It has its moments, but I expected more.
