Michael Rileys column Only Human began appearing in the Home News Tribune in 1990. In the decade that followed, his work won first prize in both the Society for Professional Journalists and the New Jersey Press Association competitions. Mike became a fulltime staff writer for the Asbury Park Press in 1998.
