Die Literatur beschftigt sich mittlerweile ausfhrlich mit der Oral History als Methode fr den Geschichtsunterricht. In allen groen Werken der Geschichtsdidaktik finden sich Artikel ber Oral History, so z.B. im Handbuch der Geschichtsdidaktik" oder im Handbuch Medien im Geschichtsunterricht". Auch die Zeitschrift Geschichte lernen" hat ein Heft zum Thema Oral History" herausgegeben. Zudem haben sich zahlreiche weitere Historiker und Didaktiker mit dem Thema Oral History im Geschichtsunterricht beschftigt. Eine Auswahl dieser Literatur wurde fr die vorliegende Arbeit verwendet. Die folgende Arbeit schildert, wie sich die Methode der Oral History entwickelte und heute in der Geschichtswissenschaft sowie in der Schule verwendet wird. Es werden Risiken und Chancen, sowie die Verwendungsmglichkeiten fr den Unterricht demonstriert, um in einem abschlieenden Fazit die Zukunftsperspektive der Oral History fr den Geschichtsunterricht aufzeigen zu knnen.
