A massive undertaking; nothing short of a labor of love. This book had its beginnings in the publication of the Oregon Cemetery Survey in 1977. This was the first statewide listing of cemeteries. When the ODOT map department decided not to publish a second edition of the OCS, others stepped in. It was clear that an update was needed and so this project was born. Continued field trips eventually resulted in personal visits to 437 cemeteries and burial sites in Oregon. This is a scarce and invaluable tool for the serious genealogist and historical researcher.
