I found the topic fascinating and the writing engaging, but it can get pretty heavy. The way it tackles sensitive subjects like war and death is not for everyone. I enjoyed it overall, but it’s not a light read!

Thought-Provoking and Well-Researched
This book does an excellent job of unpacking the often-overlooked consequences of disarmament after WWII. It’s well-researched and provides a lot of context. If you’re a history buff or just curious about this chapter, I think it’s definitely a worthwhile addition to your collection.

Informative but Lacked Flow
The insights into General Eisenhower’s role in the deaths of German soldiers were eye-opening, but I struggled with the book's flow. It felt disjointed at times, which made it hard to stay engaged. Still, the content is important, so I’d say it’s worth checking out if you can get past that.
