Review David is the kind of character you'd hate to be left alone in a room with and yet his wisdom, however painful, hits home. Watford ObserverDavid is the kind of character you'd hate to be left alone in a room with and yet his wisdom, however painful, hits home. Watford Observer Product Description It is the summer of 2010. Despite the rapid erosion of Fairwolds coastline and a global recession threatening local businesses, excelebrity photographer David Tiller and his sister Sophie are managing to run their old family home as a guest house. But their peaceful existence is threatened when their onetime brotherinlaw Lawrence and his stunning new girlfriend decide to spend a weekend by the sea...Our Brother David is a poignant tale of misplaced love, and a lively story of people trying to do the right thing in a crisis. Rich in humour, this beautiful new play, inspired by Chekhovs masterpiece Uncle Vanya, could make you think differently about the future. About the Author Anthony Clark is an awardwinning director playwright and teacher with a strong reputation for finding, commissioning and producing new plays. His plays, and adaptations have been produced nationally and internationally. He has directed for the National Theatre, RSC, and Bristol Old Vic and held the role of Artistic Director at Hampstead Theatre, Birmingham Rep (The Door) and Contact Theatre. He currently runs his own company Theatre Accord, and is Course Leader for MA Dramatic Writing and MA Directing at Central Saint Martins.
