Out of the Wreck and other Nautical Tales offers the discerning connoisseur of pulp fiction an enthralling mix of highseas mystery (including one story featuring Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson!), romance, and adventure. Captain A.E. Dingle (1874 1947) wrote pro lifically for such classic magazines as Adventure, Argosy, The Saturday Evening Post, Munsey's, and many more. Born Aylward Edward Dingle, he was a mariner as well as a radio broadcaster and author, and much of his work features the life on the ocean. He wrote prolifically throughout the first half of the Twentieth Century. Under his own name and a series of pseudonyms (which included Brian Cotterell and Sinbad), he crafted such novels as The Flying Kestrel, A Modern Sinbad: An Autobiography, Sinbad's Book of Pirates, Sinister Eden, Pirates May Fly, 'Black Joker', The Corpse Came Back, and many more. This new collection of nauticallythemed stories, written as only a true mariner could write them, showcases the work of a master of the pulp and slick magazines . . . Captain A.E. Dingle.
